360REPCO to Present THE CAROLE BAYER SAGER PROJECT: ALBUM ONE, 1/17-18

Thom Fogarty will direct the Premeire of THE Carole Bayer Sager PROJECT: ALBUM ONE, which will be presented January 17th and 18th in two different venues, presented by 360REPCO. Performance stars Crystal Rona Peterson as "Carole" and Jenny Selig and Micah Bucey as "The Carolettes", with Musical Direction by Michael Conley. The entire evening was was created and directed Thom Fogarty.

Between 1977 and 1981, the iconic Carole Bayer Sager released three albums of collaborations with Melissa Manchester, Bette Midler, Marvin Hamlish, Peter Allen and many others. This performance is a loving recreation of the 10 perfect pop songs included on her first album, Carole Bayer Sager (Elektra Entertainment 1977).

This is a song by song, in chronological order, look at that first album - Carole Bayer Sager. It is a loving recreation of particular time in our lives. For a lot of us, who came to NYC in the time of STUDIO 54 and punk music, the vibe of this album was a right of passage into love, surviving love and love lost.

Thom Fogarty** has been active in NYC's downtown theater since 1977, appearing in dance and theatre productions, and creating works with Joseph Chaikin (The Open Theater), Paul Zimet (The Talking Band), Judson Poets Theater, DV8 Physical Theatre (London), and H.M. Koutoukas ("Dead at Sea," based on Mr. Koutoukas' journal entries). He has taught movement and performance throughout the U.S. and Europe. Since changing his focus to directing in 2011 he has produced 16 fully staged productions, 5 cabarets, and 3 readings. He is an Associate Member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and the Drama League.
