Xerxes has officially boarded Warner Bros' upcoming film FOCUS.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE's Rodrigo Santoro has signed on to join Will Smith and Margo Robbie in the con artist flick, originally set to star Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. Kristen Stewart was also at one time attached to the project.

The film centers on an older, more experience con man (Smith), who falls for a young rookie (Robbie.) Smith's character is "thrown off his game when the former flame shows up just as he's staging an elaborate con in Buenos Aires."

Santoro will take on the role of "the magnetic and powerful owner of a Formula One race team who is vying for Robbie's affections. He also hires Smith to gain a competitive edge for his racing team."
