I'm very excited for the show! I've been involved since the Encores productions and I've seen the response that led us to getting a Broadway house, so it's no surprise for me. I'm surprised by my nomination though. It's such a huge season. To be nominated is quite something, to say that you got in. I was not watching the broadcast today, I just knew because the phone blew up. My agent called me, as he did last time in 2005, and said 'You're probably asleep like you were last time, but I'm just giving you a congrats over voicemail!' I already left for an interview that was set up with Seth Rudetsky to talk about a concert I'm doing on May 12, and then I realized that I left food on in the house! So I tried to call anybody to help me- I didn't want the house to burn down on this beautiful day! The food is a little crispy but everything is in in order now. So now I'm back and I'm going to celebrate by laying down.
