The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards is airing live coast to coast tonight, on August 29 (8-11 p.m. EST) on NBC, originating from the Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles. The awards are being produced by Don Mischer and hosted by Jimmy Fallon

Amongst the nominations are Broadway vets Lea Michele and Matt Morrison for Best Actress and Actor in a Comedy and GLEE for Best Comedy Series. GLEE received a total of 19 noms including for guest stars Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris (who won at the creative arts awards ceremony) and Mike O'Malley.

Other theatre stars receiving nods included Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Hope Davis, Dame Judi Dench, Chris Colfer, Patrick Stewart, Michael Emerson, Dame Maggie Smith, Glenn Close, Al Pacino, Michael Sheen, Sir Ian McKellen, Michael C. Hall, Alec Baldwin, Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Tony Shalhoub, Edie Falco, Martin Short, John Lithgow, Robert Morse, Eli Wallach, Alan Cumming, Christine Baranski, Lily Tomlin and more.
