The American Theatre Wing's 64th Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony"® Awards were held at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 13, 2010 and broadcast on the CBS Television Network. For more information visit tonyawards.com.

Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing's 64th Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony"® Awards were announced on May 4, 2010 by Broadway Star Lea Michele and Tony Award Nominee Jeff Daniels.

The Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards are bestowed annually on theatre professionals for distinguished achievement. The Tony is one of the most coveted awards in the entertainment industry and the annual telecast is considered one of the most prestigious programs on television.

David Bryan: David is a Grammy® Award-winning keyboard player and founding member of Bon Jovi. Over the past 26 years the band has sold more than 130 million records and toured the world, playing to millions of people. Their recent Lost Highway Tour was the #1 grossing tour in the world. David and Joe DiPietro have also co-written the award-winning musical The Toxic Avenger, currently playing at New World Stages. David is a National Spokesperson for VH1's Save The Music Program. Jason Carr (La Cage aux Folles)
After winning the 1988 Vivian Ellis Prize, Jason was invited by Peter Hall to compose Born Again  (a musical of Ionesco's Rhinoceros) at Chichester Festival Theatre starring Mandy Patinkin and José Ferrer. Jason was Associate Composer at Chichester 2003-5, writing music and lyrics for two new musicals, The Water Babies and Six Pictures of Lee Miller  (nominated for the British Composer Awards 2006). Jason has composed incidental music for over 40 plays in the UK and on Broadway, including 17 productions for the late Steven Pimlott. The CD Listen Up! features 20 of his songs, starring singers Michael Ball, Maria Friedman and Philip Quast. Orchestration credits include: the Menier Chocolate Factory's Sunday in the Park With George  (Drama Desk Award winner and Tony Award nomination), A Little Night Music and Maria Friedman Re-Arranged.

AaRon Johnson (Fela!)
Born in Iowa City and raised on Long Island, AaRon Johnson began studying music at the Mannes Prep program in New York, and continued at The New School, where he now teaches. He has become an in-demand trombonist, arranger, and composer in the New York music scene, and has recorded and performed with such artists as Paul Simon, Medeski, Martin, and Wood, TV on the Radio, The Roots, Wu-Tang-Clan, Angelique Kidjo and Femi Kuti. He joined Antibalas in 2000, and began conducting the band in 2001. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and sons.

His 1968 Broadway debut with PROMISES, PROMISES led to Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd,  Into the Woods, Nine, Passion, Titanic,  The Color Purple, A Chorus Line.Composer/arranger/conductor, film/TV: Mike Nichols, Franco Zeffirelli, Sidney Lumet, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Murder, She Wrote, Columbo.  Arranger/conductor, recordings: Kristin Chenoweth, Bernadette Peters, Judy Collins, Placido Domingo, Better Midler, Barbra Streisand, Paul McCartney. One of only eight persons holding Tony, Emmy, Grammy and Academy Awards. Elected to Theatre Hall of Fame in 2009.
