14-year-old guitarist Quinn Sullivan will make his Hollywood Bowl debut alongside multi-Grammy blues guitarist Buddy Guy on Wednesday, August 21, at 8 PM. Opening act Funky Metersblends funk, blues and dance grooves with a New Orleans vibe.

After seeing the then eight-year-old prodigy perform at the Zeiterion Theater in 2007, Guy became a mentor to the New Bedford, Massachusetts native. Quinn played a solo that belied his age on a track on Skin Deep, Guy's 2008 Grammy-nominated album. After Quinn released his debut album Cyclone in February 2011, he went on his first tour with Guy.

Sullivan held his first guitar at three-years-old and has since appeared on several national talk shows including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, NBC's The Today Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Oprah. Sullivan has also performed with B.B. King, Johnny Lang and many others at iconic venues such as the Beacon Theatre and BB King's Blues Club in New York City, Orpheum Theatre in Boston, Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago and Austin City Limits Music Festival.

Sullivan recently recorded an all-new album, Getting There, which was released by SuperStar Records on June 18, 2013. The album showcases Quinn's wide range and includes blues, pop and rock tracks.
