30 years ago Howard Jones released his debut single 'New Song' which urged listeners to challenge their preconceived ideas and throw off their mental chains. To celebrate the anniversary Howard has confirmed two exclusive 30th anniversary UK concerts at London o2 Shepherd's Bush Empire (November 29) and Birmingham o2 Academy (November 30).

Tickets are on sale to the general public from Friday 22 March by calling the National Credit Card Hotline - 0844 477 20000 or book online from www.ticketweb.co.uk.

Both concerts will be divided into three parts. The first will include an unplugged acoustic set including some rarely performed album tracks and b-sides. The second part of the show will see Howard performing a brand new composition for the very first time that will incorporate multimedia, new technology and audience participation.

The final set will be electric, celebrating his best known songs and highlights from his career including 'What Is Love', 'Hide And Seek', 'Like To Get To Know You Well', 'Pearl In The Shell,' and 'Things Can Only Get Better'. Every ticket holder will receive a free limited edition Howard Jones 30th Anniversary CD comprising a personal selection of Howard's favourite recordings over the past 30 years.
