After the success of The Woman without a Shadow, the greatest, most ambitious, most complex Richards Strauss’ opera, with its dense and overwhelmingly drama-tic only act, pays rightful tribute to its author 150 years after his birth in Munich. Modern and expressionist, the Greek mythology becomes absolutely current in this score, interpreted by a cast of renowned voices who have already taken part in our previous seasons, together with distinguished Argentine artists.
