Fox Cities P.A.C. Welcomes New Board Members

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's Board of Directors welcomes several new leaders while saying thank you to a number of retiring board members. Tim Bergstrom, Rebecca Dunphey, Tim Fliss, Wilson Jones and Scott Teerlinck will fill vacancies created by retiring board members Sheri Edison, John Hogerty, Mike Hsu and Mark Loper.

"We would like to thank our retiring board members for their dedication and support of the Center's mission throughout the years and welcome the new members to our leadership team," said Fox Cities P.A.C. President Maria Van Laanen. "As we enter our 15th Anniversary Season we recognize the work our Board of Directors has always done to ensure the Center is successful and remains focused on being a gathering place for our community to engage in educational opportunities and enhance the understanding and enjoyment of life through the live performing arts."

"The Board of Directors represents a group of business and civic leaders who are also strong advocates for the arts," said departing Board Chair Beth Flaherty. "Our 2017-18 Board of Directors will continue to be wonderful assets in supporting the Center's mission and valuable stewards to our community."

Flaherty will depart as board chair, having served her two-year term.

Angelo Ninivaggi has been selected as the new board chair and has taken over the position as of July 1. Ninivaggi is currently the Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel and Secretary of Plexus Corp. where he has been employed since 2002. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Columbia University and both a master's and juris doctor from Fordham University. Ninivaggi first joined the Center's Board in 2012.

John Krause, a current board member, has also been re-elected to the role of secretary-treasurer. Krause is a partner with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP. Krause first joined the board at the Center in 2012.

Beth Flaherty will serve as immediate past chair. Flaherty has served as president of the board of the Women's Fund and the Fox Valley Symphony and serves on the board of the Fox Cities Building for the Arts. She has also assisted in the Lawrence Academy of Music and Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust. Flaherty first joined the board at the Center in 2007.

ABOUT THE NEW BOARD MEMBERS:

Tim Bergstrom is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Bergstrom Automotive, headquartered in Neenah, Wisconsin. Bergstrom is a cum laude graduate from Marquette University School of Business. He also serves on the boards of Marquette University, ThedaCare Hospital System, National Dealer Council for Lexus USA and United Way - Fox Cities along with many other committee positions.

Rebecca Dunphey is President of North America Adult and Feminine Care of Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Dunphey received her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Augustana College and her master's degree in business administration from the University of Iowa. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Harbor House in Appleton.

Tim Fliss is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources officer for Bemis Company. Fliss has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, along with being a graduate of the University of Oxford Strategic Leadership Program. Fliss has also served on the Board of Directors for the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, the United Way oF Brown County and the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra.

Wilson Jones is President and Chief Executive Officer of Oshkosh Corporation. Jones holds a bachelor's of business administration degree from the University of North Texas. Jones currently serves on the Board of Directors for Thor Industries, Inc. and has served on the Board of Directors for the Fire Apparatus Manufactures' Association and the American Ambulance Association.

Scott Teerlinck is President of Werner Electric Supply. Teerlinck has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's in business administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Teerlinck also serves on the Board of Directors for the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and New North.

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's Board of Directors oversees the nonprofit organization's strategic direction and fiscal responsibility. The mission of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is to serve as a gathering place for the community to engage in educational opportunities and enhance understanding and enjoyment of life through the creation and presentation of the arts. The Center does this by providing a premier venue for performing arts attractions and a dynamic environment for arts organizations. Board members volunteer their time and expertise, committing to three-year terms of service at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
