The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is taking a fresh spin on the national #GivingTuesday movement by releasing highlights from the 2015-16 Season, thanking donors, patrons, volunteers and community members who continue to give time, monetary donations and support to the Center.

As a nonprofit arts and cultural education organization, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center relies on the support of the community to continue spreading the mission of the Center, which is to serve as a gathering place for the community to engage in educational opportunities and enhance understanding and enjoyment of life through the creation and presentation of the arts.

In the 2015-16 Season, the Center served as a gathering place for more than 202,000 people, including approximately 11,400 first time attendees. Through exceptional live experiences and meaningful, inclusive and engaging programming, the Center continues to focus on being the place where the arts come alive in the community.

A gift to the Center helps to provide meaningful experiences, like the ones demonstrated in this video, for so many throughout Northeast Wisconsin and beyond. Those who are interested in supporting the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center with a year-end tax-deductible donation can visit foxcitiespac.com for more information.

MORE ABOUT GIVING TUESDAY:

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Occurring this year on November 29, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.

This effort harnesses the collective power of a unique blend of partners-nonprofits, businesses and corporations as well as families and individuals-to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. #GivingTuesday inspires people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give to the charities and causes they celebrate and help create a better world. #GivingTuesday harnesses the power of social media to create a global moment dedicated to giving around the world.
