Emmy award-winning choreographers Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland lead the Portland, OR based BodyVox. Founded in 1997, BodyVox combines contemporary dance, theatre and film to carve out their unique place in the dance world. Each piece of choreography balances humor, movement and storytelling. The dancers' extreme athleticism is apparent as they contort their bodies into majestic silhouettes. BodyVox combines live dance with filmed pieces, allowing the audience to experience the art in different formats.
Ages: Recommended for ages 10 and older.
