The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie will be directed for LCCT by Ceil Herman, running tonight, February 1 through 17, 2013.

Author Agatha Christie is well known as the foremost mystery writer of her time. In this play, a group of strangers are stranded in a boarding house during a snow storm, one of whom is a murderer. The suspects include the newly married couple who run the house, a spinster with a curious background, an architect, a retired Army major, a strange little man who claims his car has been overturned in a drift, and a jurist who makes life miserable for everyone. Into their midst comes a policeman, traveling on skis. As soon as he arrives, the jurist is killed. Enjoyable plot twists follow as the backgrounds of everyone present are probed and surprising truths are revealed.
