Celebrating 50 years of performance and a career filled with 10 hit albums, two Gold records and a Grammy nomination, the legendary six-man "beach party" band PAPA DOO RUN RUN is steeped in talent and rock 'n' roll history.

Presently composed of current and former band members of the Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, Frankie Vali and Brian Wilson, PAPA DOO RUN RUN is beloved for their era-perfect, close-cropped harmonies and surf dance sounds. They're honored members of the California Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, and their live concert appearances, which include two Olympics, seven Super Bowls, two U.S. presidential inaugurations and their 15-year run as the "Celebrity House Band" at Disneyland, further emblazoned their fame.

PAPPA DOO lights up the Spencer Theater with its golden vocals and rockin' sound (with guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, banjo, ukelele and fiddle) on Saturday, April 16 at 7 p.m. Excellent seats are available. The night's program will include favorite surf era and harmony classics like "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "Walk Like A Man," "I Get Around," "Surfin USA," "Brown Eyed Girl," "8 Days A Week," "Barbara Ann," "Sweet Home Alabama," "Help Me Rhonda," "Sloop John B," "Fun Fun Fun," "409," "Do You Wanna Dance," "California Girl" - all 50s & 60s favorites. Check 'em out. Tickets start at just $39. Visit www.spencertheater.com for tickets. A pre-concert tortilla crusted tilapia buffet ($20) is also available at 5 p.m.
