Duke City Repertory Theatre presents GASLIGHT, written by PatRick Hamilton and directed by Amelia Ampuero, running tonight, September 26th - October 6th, 2013 (Thurs through Sun), with opening night slated for Thursday, September 26th at 8 p.m. at The Cell Theatre.

Duke City Repertory Theatre is proud to open their fourth season with one of the most brilliant and suspenseful thrillers in modern theatre. A troubled relationship between a debonair husband and his unstable wife takes a strange turn with the arrival of a mysterious stranger. Gaslight has us ponder the consequences of illuminating the darkest corners of our minds, and the Victorian setting only adds to the claustrophobic paranoia and growing dread.

This unique twist on Gaslight will be directed by DCRT Artistic Director Amelia Ampuero, who dons the chair for the first time since 2011's wildly divisive reasons to be pretty. Audience favorites Frank Taylor Green (POE, Ash Tree) and Lauren Myers (Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, POE) lead the ensemble cast, along with company members Ezra Colon and Katie Becker Colon (Oedipus, POE) and Evening Star Barron (Five Women Wearing the Same Dress).

Curtain: Thurs-Sat at 8:00 pm, Sun at 2:00 pm. Opening Night: Tonight, September 26th at 8:00 pm. Venue: The Cell Theatre -- 700 1st St. NW 87102. Ticket Prices: Regular $20; Senior/Student/Military $12; Groups 8+ $10; Thurs. Oct 3rd $10. Order Tickets: Call (505) 797-7081 or visit www.dukecityrep.com.

This is the first show for DCRT at its new home The Cell, which it now shares with FUSION Theatre Co. DCRT has been voted Albuquerque's "Best Theatre Troupe" by Albuquerque the Magazine for two consecutive years.
