The keys are rattling for lock up time as the cabaret crims prepare to do a runner after a spectacular 2014 Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

But wait...there's more! Adelaide Festival Centre's Cabaret Festival closing weekend is bursting at the sequined seams with massive talent including the legendary Darlene Love, the vocal power of sisters Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway, Australian icon Archie Roach and much more.

And of course the fun-magnet that is the Backstage Club has sold out for the final weekend. It will be heaving with music, mayhem and showbiz magic. A highlight will be Broadway star Mark Nadler, who returns with his mad, bad and dangerousBroadway Hootenanny. And the best thing about the Backstage Club? Anyone and anything is possible!

Adelaide audiences have been coming to the Adelaide Festival Centre for the past two weeks, escaping the winter blues and embracing the velvet voices and warming performances of more than 480 artists.

And the reviews have been glowing for Paul Capsis' one-man show Little Bird, with one reviewer observing that he "utterly owns the stage and captivates with every utterance, spoken or sung, in a bravura display of storytelling." The good news is it's not too late to see this one...it's on until Sunday.

Hail to the King, featuring the knock-out voices of female performers such as Mojo Juju and Christa Hughes, is another Cabaret winner you can still catch, it's on until Saturday night. It's less a tribute show to Elvis and more an amalgamation of The King and the amazing talents of these passionate, sexy and va-va-voom performers.

As the curtain comes down on her final Cabaret Festival (for now!), an emotional artistic director Kate Ceberano says:

"And now, the end is near, and so I face the final curtain.....NOT!!!!! I have had the most wonderful three years of my creative life and I can't wait to finish up my time here performing on the final night in The New Score there's going to be a lot of love in the room."

Tickets have been selling well with 35 sold out shows across the festival, but there are still great seats available for shows this weekend.

Adelaide Festival Centre CEO and Artistic Director Douglas Gautier says: ""Yet again the Adelaide Festival Centre is alive with the dazzling sights and sounds of the Cabaret Festival. The crowds are flocking in to make the most of the local, national and international talent right here on our doorstep, ensuring this year's event is a huge success.
