Golden Globe and Tony Award winner Mary-Louise Parker will present Live Out Loud's Soaring Spirit Award to Bruce Cohen, Executive-Producer of ABC's -"When We Rise," an eight-hour miniseries on the LGBT rights movement from 1972 to today. Parker plays lesbian feminist activist Roma Guy in the series.

Bruce Cohen is an Academy Award-winning producer of film, television and theater. Cohen won the Best Picture Academy Award for producing -"American Beauty"- (1999) and a earned Best Picture nomination for -"Milk"- (2008).

Come join the honorees, as Live Out Loud celebrates its 16th year providing programs for today's LGBTQ youth to nurture and encourage them through difficult moments in life. Live Out Loud features programs that help end isolation, build self-esteem, foster safe communities, and connect young people with LGBTQ role models.
